French giants Marseille are considering a summer move on Manchester City midfielder Seko Fofana, .

According to L Equipe, Marseille are keeping close tabs on Manchester City youngster Seko Fofana.

The 20-year-old joined the Citizens in 2013 from Lorient and he went on to make seven appearances for the Under-19 side in UEFA Youth League.

Fofana was loaned to Fulham last November and he has since shown a great deal of potential, making 21 Championship outings and starting four FA Cup matches.

And with the competition for places at Etihad being fierce, the youngster may be interested in returning to French Ligue 1.

Juventus duo Kwadwo Asamoah and Daniele Rugani will be out for between six and seven weeks due to knee injuries, the club have announced.

The pair both pulled up with problems during the 1-0 victory over Palermo on Saturday, which saw the champions maintain their one-point lead at the top of Serie A.

Juve have now confirmed that the duo will be sidelined for 45 days, with Asamoah requiring surgery to correct a meniscus rupture.

The extent of the injuries sustained by Daniele Rugani and Kwadwo Asamoah were clarified following medical examinations today, a club statement read. 

The tests revealed that Asamoah has ruptured the meniscus cartilage, while Rugani has strained the lateral collateral ligament, both in the right knee.

S.S. Lazio midfielder Antonio Candreva has put pen to paper on a contract extension that will keep him at the Stadio Olimpico until the summer of 2019.

Although the Italy international, who joined Lazio from Cesena in January 2012, signed a five-year contract just 11 months ago, the club offered the player fresh terms to ward off interest in the Azzurri star.

Since arriving in Rome, Candreva has bagged 23 goals in 113 appearances for the Biancocelesti while earning 23 caps for Italy, including a place in the 2014 World Cup squad.

Despite interest from Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain in the summer and a less than stellar start to the 2014/15 Serie A campaign, Candreva is happy to stay in the Italian capital.

Yesterday I wrote an article about Bournemouth’s chances of surviving the drop from the Premier League next season.

Today I will look at another promoted club Norwich’s chances of avoiding relegation in the new campaign.

Cardiff City have broken their transfer record for the third time during pre-season with the signing of Gary Medel from Sevilla.

The fee, which at a reported £9.5million surpasses the £8m paid for Steven Caulker, sees the Chile international midfielder provide Malky Mackay with further attacking options as they prepare for their first Premier League campaign.

Medel has agreed a four-year deal at the club subject to a work permit being granted.

Barcelona have announced the signing of Spain striker Paco Alcacer from Valencia on a five-year deal, with Munir El-Haddadi moving in the opposite direction on a season-long loan.

Alcacer, 23, was omitted from the Valencia side that lost 1-0 to Eibar on Saturday and underwent a medical at Barca on Monday before completing a move worth an initial €30million.

Barcelona defender Marlon is expected to leave the club on a permanent deal after returning from a loan spell at Nice.

The 22-year-old made 23 appearances in Ligue 1 last season after making the move to France s south coast in August.

Marlon s agreement was for a two-year stay but Barca have exercised the option to bring him back to Camp Nou early, prompting speculation he will be sold in the coming weeks.
